Heatwave Continues in Lahore

Lahore: The city continued to experience a heatwave on Wednesday, with temperatures soaring to 43.8°C. The MET office has warned that heatwave conditions are expected to persist across most parts of the country throughout the week.

Wednesday’s highest temperature of 49°C was recorded in Mohenjo Daro, Jacobabad, and #Dadu, while in Lahore, the maximum temperature was 43.8°C and the minimum was 29°C.

According to MET officials, continental air is prevailing over most regions of the country, with a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere likely to persist for the next few days.
