Heat Intensity Continues, Temp To Rise In KP: Met Office

Peshawar/Bahawalpur: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted that the weather is likely to remain extremely hot and humid in most districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Meanwhile, the Met Office forecasted dry and hot weather for Bahawalpur over the next 24 hours.
The temperature in Peshawar is likely to rise to 44°C, PMD sources informed Saturday.
However, rain is expected in Abbottabad, Mansehra, Bitgram, Torghar, Kohistan, Shangla, Swat, Buner, and Dir.PMD stated that rain is expected in other parts of KP, including Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Karak, Kohat, Peshawar, and Charsadda. There is a possibility of dusty winds and storms in Nowshera, Mardan, and Swabi.
Dry, hot weather likely in city: The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded were 41°C and 30°C during the last 24 hours. The dry and hot weather has also been forecast for the rest of the region.
