Abbottabad: Ahead of Eid-ul-Adha, the district administrations in Hazara have implemented strict security measures to ensure the safety of tourists visiting the region.

With an anticipated increase in visitors from various parts of the world, the Hazara police are emphasizing the need for cooperation with law enforcement authorities.

The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police in Hazara, Tahir Ayub Khan, has issued orders to enforce special measures, restricting the buying and selling of sacrificial animals exclusively to designated areas.

Security arrangements have been initiated across the region to maintain peace during the festive period. DIG Tahir Ayub Khan has assigned District Police Officers (DPOs) to oversee security protocols and traffic management at critical points.

Additional police forces have been deployed to aid in efficient traffic control. Tourists are warmly welcomed, with an appeal for collaboration with law enforcement officials.

Rigorous security checks have been put in place to protect lives and property. The importance of confining the buying and selling of sacrificial animals to designated areas has been reiterated by the DIG.

Station House Officers (SHOs) have been instructed to deploy security personnel at cattle markets to prevent theft, robbery, or pickpocketing incidents.

Comprehensive security arrangements are being finalized for Eid prayers at major mosques and prayer grounds. Severe legal action awaits individuals involved in unlawful activities such as aerial firing and reckless driving.
