Islamabad: Karachi Kings’ vice-captain Hasan Ali matched Wahab Riaz’s record for the most wickets in Pakistan Super League (PSL) history on Tuesday.
The right-arm pacer achieved this milestone during the PSL 10 clash against Lahore Qalandars at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, where he delivered a stellar performance, taking four wickets for 28 runs in his four overs.
Hasan Ali dismissed Mohammad Naeem, Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, and Sam Billings to complete his four-wicket haul and move to the top of the PSL’s all-time wicket-takers list, alongside Wahab Riaz.
Both pacers now have 113 wickets each in the tournament’s history. However, Hasan reached the milestone in just 83 innings — four fewer than Wahab, who needed 87 innings.
