Grok 3 Update Gains Traction Amid Controversial ‘Unhinged’ Voice Mode
News Desk
San Francisco, USA: Following the launch of Grok 3, Elon Musk’s xAI has experienced a tenfold increase in downloads, with daily active users rising fivefold. This update improves AI reasoning and encourages users to subscribe to X Premium for access to advanced features.
The new “SuperGrok” tier provides premium access to Grok’s most sophisticated tools. Additionally, the voice mode feature allows users to ask questions verbally and receive responses generated by AI.
However, the controversial “Unhinged” mode has ignited discussions, as it permits Grok to yell, use sarcasm, and employ explicit language, raising ethical concerns regarding AI.
Despite Grok’s swift growth, it faces stiff competition from OpenAI, Google, and Meta. Musk, however, remains hopeful, suggesting Grok could be integrated into government processes for automation. Grok has also undergone a rebranding with a new logo, solidifying its position in the AI market. Nevertheless, the real challenge will be sustaining its momentum beyond the initial excitement.
