Govt Announces Tax Concessions For Businesswomen, Allocates Rs5b Funds

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government has allocated Rs 5 billion for skill development, small business loans and training projects to promote women’s empowerment in the country during the fiscal year 2023-24.

Under the new scheme, soft loans and specialised training would also be provided to women. Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar, while presenting the Budget 2023–24 in the National Assembly on Friday, said that tax concessions have been given to businesswomen.
