Gold Rates Rise by Rs200 per Tola to Rs262,000

Islamabad: The price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs200, reaching Rs262,000 on Friday, compared to Rs 261,800 on the previous trading day.

The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold also rose by Rs.172, selling at Rs224,623, up from Rs224,451. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold increased to Rs205,904 from Rs.205,747, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The prices of per tola and 10 grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs2,950 and Rs2,529.14, respectively.

However, the price of gold in the international market fell by $12, dropping to $2,492 from $2,504, the Association reported.
