Gold Prices Spike By Rs700 Per Tola

Islamabad: The price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs. 700 per tola, reaching Rs. 260,700 on Tuesday, up from Rs. 260,000 on the previous trading day.
In the international market, the price of gold rose by $10, reaching $2,512 from $2,502.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price for 10g of 24 karat gold also rose by Rs. 600, closing at Rs. 223,508 compared to Rs. 222,908 previously. Meanwhile, the price for 10g of 22-karat gold increased to Rs. 204,882 from Rs. 204,332.
Silver prices remained steady, with per-tola silver priced at Rs. 2,950 and 10g at Rs. 2,529.14.
