Gold Prices Drop by Rs1,600 per Tola

Islamabad: The price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs1,600, settling at Rs301,500 on Wednesday, compared to Rs303,100 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs1,372, trading at Rs258,487 from its previous rate of Rs259,859. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also dropped to Rs236,955 from Rs238,212.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with per tola silver priced at Rs3,312 and 10 grams at Rs2,839.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $16, decreasing from $2,904 to $2,888 per ounce, the association reported.
