Gold Price Surges to Record High

Lahore: The price of gold in Pakistan surged to the highest level in the country’s history on Saturday. According to the Gems and Jewelers Associations, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 400 in the bullion market, reaching a record high of Rs. 266,300.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs. 343, bringing it to Rs. 228,309. The price of silver also saw an increase of Rs. 50 per tola, reaching Rs. 2,950.

 

In the international market, the price of gold rose by 11 dollars per ounce, reaching 2,577 dollars per ounce.
