Goher Mumtaz, Aima Baig Team Up for ‘Har Saal’

Islamabad: Singer, songwriter and Jal frontman Goher Mumtaz has made a comeback to the music scene with a laid-back new single, Har Saal, featuring Aima Baig in their first standalone collaboration.

The track also marks a notable moment as Mumtaz brings his iconic band Jal into the project, blending his signature style with a fresh pop-driven sound.

Written and composed by Mumtaz, Har Saal carries a breezy, feel-good vibe that focuses more on musical chemistry than elaborate production. The announcement of the song was simple yet impactful, with Mumtaz sharing a concise Instagram caption: “Aima Baig x Goher Mumtaz x JAL.”

The music video, produced under Goher Mumtaz Productions, steers away from grandeur and instead highlights intimacy and creative spontaneity. It opens with Mumtaz seated at a keyboard, experimenting with a melody before abandoning it in mild frustration. He then switches to his guitar — a familiar instrument for the Jal frontman — symbolising a return to his creative comfort zone.

At that moment, Aima Baig enters the frame, casually pouring orange juice and seamlessly joining the tune, signalling approval of the new melody. The video then unfolds through a series of warm, candid moments, showing the two artists singing and jamming together in a relaxed setting.

Two weeks prior to the official release, the duo teased the project with a short trailer, building anticipation among fans.

With Har Saal, Mumtaz delivers a refreshing, easy-listening track while marking a new collaborative chapter with Baig.
