Gohar, Umar Ayub Decline Membership in Sunni Etihad

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leaders Barristers Gohar and Umar Ayub did not join the Sunni Etihad Council.

According to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) sources, 86 independent candidates have joined the Sunni Ittehad Council, while eight independent candidates have joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The ECP has issued notifications for the success of 96 out of 101 independent candidates who emerged victorious.

The further mentioned that notifications for five independent candidates have not been issued.
