Global Summit Focuses on Inclusive Solutions to Climate Challenges

Islamabad: Participants from Pakistan and across the globe concluded a four-day conference aimed at devising inclusive solutions to key issues such as climate change, entrepreneurship, and sustainable water management.
Organized by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in collaboration with the National Rural Support Program (NRSP), this groundbreaking event exemplified innovation and inclusivity, echoing the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day campaign, ‘Inspire Inclusion.’
Hosted by NRSP under the auspices of USAID and led by the All Pakistan Women Universities Consortium (APWUC), the conference brought together approximately 250 participants from various sectors.
The conference aimed to tackle local development challenges by leveraging localized research and strategies aligned with the “Green Alliance” framework.
At the closing ceremony, Andrew Schofer, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy, remarked, “May our collective dedication to ‘Inspire Inclusion’ drive us toward a future where the contributions of every individual, community, and partner are duly acknowledged and celebrated.”
In the face of complex global challenges, this conference underscored the importance of partnership and inclusivity, laying the groundwork for transformative solutions.
