Glittering PSL 11 Trophy Unveiled in Karachi

Karachi: The trophy for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), branded as HBL Pakistan Super League, was unveiled in a grand ceremony at National Bank Stadium, marking another exciting chapter in Pakistan’s rapidly evolving sports landscape.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by Salman Naseer, representatives of all eight franchises, officials from title sponsor Habib Bank Limited, members of Hanif Jewellers, and media representatives.
Designed and manufactured by Hanif Jewellers, the trophy is a symbol of craftsmanship and sporting excellence. It was handcrafted by 18 master artisans who spent more than 2,600 hours completing the intricate design, reflecting the remarkable journey and growth of the league over the past decade.
At the base of the trophy, eight emerald-cut gemstones represent the colours of the league’s eight franchises and the cities they proudly represent.
The towering structure symbolises discipline, determination and teamwork, while the crescent and star at the top embody unity, hope and national pride. In total, the trophy is adorned with more than 1,600 gemstones, highlighting the meticulous attention to detail.

Speaking at the ceremony, CEO Salman Naseer described the moment as historic for the league.
“This is a historic occasion for the HBL Pakistan Super League as we step into a new era after successfully completing 10 seasons,” he said. “Over the years, the league has grown stronger with new teams, record-breaking player auctions, landmark broadcast agreements and ever-increasing support from fans across Pakistan and around the world.”
He also acknowledged the role of Habib Bank Limited, franchise owners and Hanif Jewellers in shaping the league’s success and prestige.
The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League will feature eight teams competing in 44 matches across six venues. The tournament will open on March 26, with defending champions Lahore Qalandars taking on Hyderabad Kingsmen.
With each passing season, the PSL continues to strengthen Pakistan’s position as a major hub for international cricket and sports entertainment, reflecting the country’s growing passion for competitive leagues and large-scale sporting events.
