Gary Kirsten Begins Role as Pakistan’s White Ball Coach

Faisalabad: Gary Kirsten, the newly appointed head coach of Pakistan’s white ball cricket team, has officially started his duties following his arrival in Pakistan.

Kirsten, along with mental performance coach David Reid, visited Faisalabad to observe the Champions ODI Cup match between the Stallions and Lions. The pair also met with selectors Mohammad Yousuf and Asad Shafiq to discuss team strategies and player performance.

As part of his role, Kirsten will be reviewing the performances of players in the Champions One Day Cup. He is also set to attend the Lahore Connection Camp alongside Red Ball Head Coach Jason Gillespie. The Connection Camp is scheduled to take place in Lahore, with Reid also participating on September 23.

Kirsten’s initial activities include assessing player performances and integrating with the coaching staff to enhance the team’s preparations for upcoming competitions.
