Tank: In a significant breakthrough, Tank police have uncovered a major fraud during the recent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police recruitment process, identifying and registering cases against 20 candidates and their impersonators.

The impersonators, all hailing from Tank district, were exposed through a meticulous investigation led by District Police Officer (DPO) Aslam Nawaz Khan. Employing advanced verification techniques and impersonators, the police unveiled a sophisticated attempt to bypass the merit-based recruitment process.

“This discovery underscores our zero-tolerance policy against corruption and our unwavering commitment to transparency and justice,” DPO Aslam Nawaz Khan stated. He added, “A strong social system thrives on fairness, and the increasing public trust in our institution is proof of our success.”

The crackdown reflects DPO Khan’s efforts to ensure that only deserving candidates join the force, marking a significant step toward restoring confidence in the recruitment process.

This bold move comes as a stark warning to those attempting to exploit systemic loopholes, as the Tank police vow to continue actions against fraudsters to strengthen the integrity of the police system.
