Four Seminary Students Drowned While Bathing In Stream

Dir Lower: At least four students of a local Kamal seminary drowned in a stream in the Lower Dir district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa after they jumped into the river to take a bath.
Lal Qila police informed that students were bathing in the stream near Kambar when they accidentally moved into the deep water and all of them drowned. Local residents cried for help and informed Rescue 1122.
Upon receiving the emergency call, the officials of Rescue 1122 and police divers started searching for the missing boys.
After a day-long search, the bodies were recovered by the divers and shifted to Lal Qila Hospital, where the doctors declared them dead and informed the families of the deceased.
The students are identified as Fayyaz s/o Muazullah, Zaid s/o Hakeemullah, a resident of Qasho Dand Samur Bagh, Abu Bakr s/o Halimullah and Abdul Rehman s/o Muhammad Zamin, a resident of Bandi Lal Qila.
In a separate tragic incident, as many as 14 people were injured in the same district when the roof of a local seminary suddenly collapsed in Chakdara. Local residents stated that a Khatam Quran ceremony was going on when the roof suddenly collapsed. The roof was in a state of disrepair.
