Four Day Autumn Flowers Show Opens at Rose & Jasmine Garden, Capturing Visitors’ Attention

Islamabad: The annual 41st Autumn Flowers Show is drawing in a lot of visitors, especially kids, to see the spectrum of colours of several chrysanthemum kinds and enjoy vibrant food stalls on display. The four-day flowers show is organised by the Islamabad Horticultural Society and CDA at Rose & Jasmine Garden, Islamabad.

According to organizers, multiple varieties of chrysanthemums have been exhibited in the show including intermediates, incurred, reflex, sprays, anemones, pompons, Korean hybrid, single floor, and spidery flowers. In addition to the lovely displays of seasonal flowers, herbs, and ornamental plants, there are also numerous commercial booths of nurseries, seeds, gardening tools, lawn furniture, and accessories on display for the audience.

A visitor said that the multicolour autumn flower exhibit is making a substantial contribution to raising public awareness of floriculture, home gardening, landscaping, and tree planting.

A young girl named HaniyyahUsman said the chrysanthemum and autumn flowers show was a feast of joy and that she was enjoying all of the various kinds and hues of flowers there.

A teacher and her family members spoke in the garden about the educational and learning aspects of this flower show.

According to a mother, the tourists were taking pictures and letting their kids run about the grounds because they loved the vibrant flowers and surroundings so much.

Another owner of a food stand claimed that he was getting a good response in terms of customers and that he was making a respectable sum of money by selling his hot biryani plate.

“The Horticulture Society organised a very successful flower display, promoted floral culture in Islamabad, and actively encouraged people to engage in healthful, entertaining, recreational, and amusing activities,” commented a worker of Rose & Jasmine garden.

According to a Capital Development Authority (CDA) worker, this exhibition is regarded as a vibrant event of the social calendar of the federal capital as people from all walks of life travel from the twin cities as well as adjoining areas to see the exhibition.
