Foolproof Security Arrangements for Chehlum: RPO

Rawalpindi: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Region, Babar Sarfraz Alpa, confirmed that foolproof security arrangements were made for the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).

Over 4,600 well-equipped officers and cops were deployed, along with 215 traffic wardens, to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and facilitate mourners. The main procession, monitored via CCTV cameras and aerial surveillance, culminated peacefully.

Senior police officers, including the RPO and CPO, were actively involved in overseeing the security arrangements throughout the procession routes. Roads on the procession routes were closed for traffic, and strict security measures were enforced.
