Five Killed as Swat-Bound Bus Crashes at Neela Dullah Interchange

Islamabad: At least five people lost their lives, and three others sustained serious injuries in a tragic accident involving a passenger bus near the Neela Dullah Interchange on Motorway M2 on Friday.
According to the Motorway Police, a non-AC Gulab Coach traveling from Karachi to Swat, carrying 43 passengers, lost control and crashed. Initial reports suggest that the accident occurred due to the driver’s negligence.
Emergency responders promptly arrived at the scene, providing medical assistance to the injured. Fifteen other passengers sustained minor injuries and are receiving treatment, while the seriously injured were shifted to DHQ Hospital Chakwal.
The bus, which was severely damaged in the accident, was removed from the site with the help of a crane. The Motorway Police arrived at the scene as soon as they received information about the crash and initiated further action while ensuring all necessary precautions.
An investigation into the incident is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
