Five Dead, Several Injured in Jamshoro Car Crash

Islamabad: At least five people lost their lives, while several others, including women and children, were injured in a head-on collision between two cars on the Indus Highway in Jamshoro district on Friday.

According to police sources, the accident occurred near the Jamshoro Bridge when two cars traveling in opposite directions collided. The impact was severe, claiming five lives on the spot, as reported by private news channels.

Rescue teams and emergency services quickly reached the scene and transported the injured to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. The condition of some victims is reported to be critical.

Preliminary investigations suggest that reckless driving and wrong-side crossing may have been factors in the fatal crash. Authorities are further investigating the incident.
