Islamabad: The organizers of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have decided to introduce a digital ticket option for selected enclosures during the upcoming 11th edition of the tournament.
According to sources, the digital ticket facility will be available for VIP and premium enclosures during matches scheduled in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.
Spectators holding tickets for these enclosures will be able to enter the stadium by showing their online tickets, eliminating the need for printed copies.
Sources also said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to keep ticket prices relatively affordable for fans this season. Ticket prices for league-stage matches are expected to range between Rs300 and Rs3,000.
Meanwhile, the first player trade ahead of PSL 11 has also been announced. Two players have been exchanged between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators.
As part of the trade, Multan Sultans have acquired Faisal Akram and Arafat Minhas from Quetta Gladiators. In return, Ahmed Daniyal and Jahanzeb Sultan have joined Quetta Gladiators.
The player trade window for PSL 11 opened on Friday, with both franchises agreeing to compensate the players as per the terms finalized ahead of the upcoming player auction.
