Fire Disrupts Power Supply in TwinCities

Islamabad: A fire in a manhole connected to the 132 KV Cantt Grid Station caused power outages across multiple areas, an Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) spokesperson said in a statement.

The incident disrupted power supply on 14 feeders, with restoration completed for 10 so far. However, areas including Committee Chowk, Liaqat Bagh, Arya Mohalla, and Mohanpura are still experiencing outages.

IESCO operation teams are working to restore power at the earliest. The company apologized to consumers for the inconvenience.
