Islamabad: In a recent operation conducted at Islamabad International Airport, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) apprehended two persons on Saturday and seized expensive gadgets from their possession.
As per an FIA official, Babar Ayub and Mohammad Salman, who had arrived in Dubai via flight PK-234, were the detained suspects. Acting on a tip-off, the FIA discovered a cache of valuable items among their belongings.
The individuals, whose frequent travels abroad had raised suspicion, failed to provide satisfactory explanations concerning the items found in their luggage. The confiscated items included 50 units of iPhone 15 Pro Max, 16 iPhone 15 Pros, 100 data cables, and three Apple MacBooks.
Following the arrest, the suspects were transferred to customs authorities for further legal proceedings. This incident highlights the diligence of law enforcement agencies in thwarting smuggling activities at airports.
