Female Robbers Swipe Gold, Cash Under Guise of Polio Aid

Peshawar: A group of female robbers exploited the guise of administering polio drops to carry out a robbery, absconding with both gold and cash from a residence.
According to details, a group of four women reportedly carried out a robbery in broad daylight at a house in the Gulbahar No 4 Ejazabad area of Peshawar, making off with three tolas of gold and cash worth hundreds of thousands.
According to the local police, the women gained entry to the house under the pretense of checking the polio vaccination card.
Two of the suspects accompanied the homeowner to a room, where they allegedly rendered her unconscious. Subsequently, the group ransacked the premises, stealing gold and cash from a cupboard before fleeing the scene.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are pursuing leads to apprehend the perpetrators believed to be operating within the vicinity.
