Faysal’s Take on Fahad Mustafa’s Return to TV: What Did He Say?
News Desk
Islamabad: In a recent episode of his podcast Pressure Buhat Hey, Faysal Quraishi, the acclaimed Pakistani actor known for his roles in popular dramas such as Boota from Toba Tek Singh, Qaid E Tanhai, and Meri Zaat Zarra E Benishan, shared insights on the typical financial negotiations between actors and producers.
Reflecting on his thirty-year career, Quraishi remarked, “Producers have never boasted about having a big budget or offering substantial compensation.
Instead, they often say, ‘We’re facing financial difficulties, the budget is tight, please consider this role.’ I usually agree to their terms, prioritizing the quality of the role over the financial offer.”
During the podcast, which he also hosts on his YouTube channel, Quraishi discussed Fahad Mustafa’s performance in the drama serial Kabhi Mai Kabhi Tum, expressing his admiration. “I’ve really enjoyed Fahad’s performance and have encouraged him to continue working in television.
Although he seems to prefer films, it’s great to see him back on TV,” he said. Fellow actor Faizan Sheikh also shared his thoughts, adding, “With Fahad Mustafa back in dramas, I believe he should continue. I’m really enjoying his work, and I think he’s having a good time with it, though I can’t be certain.”
