FAPUASA Demands To Allocate Funds For Recurring Budgets

Islamabad: The Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Associations (FAPUASA) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has demanded that the provincial government allocate a portion of the recurring budget for universities that are unable to pay the current increase in salaries.
Headed by FAPUASA President Dr Feroze Shah, the delegation met with Higher Education Minister Dr Qasim Jan at his office.
General Secretary Dr. Zafar Hayat Khan briefed the minister on the overall situation of the universities, particularly highlighting financial difficulties faced by employees facing the highest-ever inflation.
The Federation also requested that the KP Governor and the Chief Minister take notice of these pressing matters.
