Fake Pesticides Worth Rs 8.4 Million Seized in Multan

Multan: In a significant operation against counterfeit pesticides, the agriculture department has seized 646 liters and 500 kg of fake pesticides valued at Rs 8.4 million during a raid on a store. The operation led to the arrest of a suspect involved in producing and selling these fraudulent products under various company labels.

The authorities also confiscated packaging materials, sealing machines, printed labels, and empty drums used in the production of the fake pesticides. Three samples of the seized pesticides have been sent for laboratory analysis.

The materials have been handed over to the police, and a case has been registered at Muzaffarabad police station. Investigations are ongoing.
