Faisal Masjid to Host ‘Mahfil Shabeena’ From Sunday

Islamabad: Mahfil Shabeena will commence at Faisal Masjid on Sunday, organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

According to the Ministry’s Spokesperson, Muhammad Umar Butt, Mahfil Shabeena will extend for seven consecutive days, from Isha prayer to midnight.

He mentioned that Mahfil Shabeena will span from the 21st to the 27th of Ramazan, marking the last Ashra of the sacred month.

The culmination of the Holy Quran recitation in Mahfil Shabeena is scheduled for the 27th night of Ramazan.

Umar Butt further elaborated that the victors of the competition would act as representatives for their respective provinces in Mahfil Shabeena.

Additionally, the Haffaz of Dawah Academy would also have the privilege of reciting the “Holy Quran” during the event, alongside them.
