Excise Deptt Launches Mobile Service Drive in Islamabad

Islamabad: The Excise and Taxation Department (E&T) of Islamabad hosted a special vehicular service initiative at the parking lot of Shalimar Cricket Ground on Friday, offering services from 2 to 4 pm to facilitate citizens.
In a bid to enhance civic services and bring them closer to the community, Director General Excise Department Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon, spearheaded this exclusive drive.
The initiative aimed to provide citizens with convenient access to essential vehicular-related services.
According to a spokesperson from the ICT administration, the excise staff was present on-site to assist vehicle owners with tasks such as registration, transfers, and token tax processing.
The initiative also introduced the ICT Doorstep Service, enabling citizens to obtain various essential documents, including Domicile Certificates, Birth Certificates, Powers of Attorney, International Driving Permits, Fuel Permits (Domestic/Commercial), and Motor Vehicle Registrations, all at a single location.
The spokesperson highlighted the efficiency and ease offered by these facilitation centers, providing seamless solutions for administrative needs. “Whether you are a vehicle owner seeking to manage your paperwork or need essential documents, this initiative ensures convenience and efficiency for all,” he added.
