Enhanced Security Deployed at Lahore Churches, Sensitive Sites

Lahore: Lahore’s security forces were placed on high alert on Sunday following instructions from Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana.

The Lahore police formulated an extensive security plan for churches, deploying additional personnel, including snipers, to sensitive locations and key sites. Security teams remained vigilant during church services and at significant Christian community sites.

In addition, search and sweep operations were conducted around churches and sensitive areas. Police maintained rigorous checks at entry and exit points, while the Dolphin Squad, Police Response Unit, and Elite teams carried out effective patrolling to monitor any suspicious activity. Supervisory officers closely oversaw the security arrangements to ensure a foolproof setup.
