England Women Secure 37-Run Victory Against Pakistan

Islamabad: The England women’s cricket team defeated Pakistan by 37 runs in the first One Day International (ODI) match held last night.
England Women posted a total of 243 runs for 9 wickets, with top scorers Elise Capsey contributing 44 runs, Amy Jones 37 runs, and Tammy Beaumont 33 runs.
For Pakistan, Nida Dar took 3 wickets, while Alia Riaz, Nashera Sindhu, and Umm Hani each claimed two wickets.
In their chase, Pakistan’s national women’s team managed to score 206 runs for 9 wickets. Muniba Ali top-scored with 34 runs, followed by Sadaf Shams with 28 runs, and both Nida Dar and Najia Alvi with 26 runs each.
England’s Sophie Ecclestone took 3 wickets, while Charlie Dean, Lauren Bell, and Kate Cross each took 2 wickets.
With this victory, England leads the three-match series 1-0.
