Chester-le-Street: England captain Harry Brook won the toss and elected to field against a depleted Australian side in the third one-day international (ODI) at Chester-le-Street on Tuesday.
Trailing 2-0 in the series with three matches remaining, England need a win at Durham to keep the series alive. Their chances were boosted as Australia left out in-form opener Travis Head, who was rested due to soreness, and key leg-spinner Adam Zampa, who was ruled out due to illness.
They were replaced by Cameron Green and Sean Abbott.
England made one change, recalling fast bowler Jofra Archer in place of Olly Stone. Meanwhile, left-arm seamer Reece Topley will miss the rest of the series due to illness.
