Energizer Unveils Brick Phone with 100-Day Battery Life

Energizer, the renowned American battery manufacturer, has unveiled a groundbreaking smartphone equipped with the most potent battery, boasting a lifespan of approximately 100 days.
Revealed at the World Mobile Conference, the Android device, dubbed the Hard Case P28K, is slated for a general release later this year.

This innovative phone marks a departure from Energizer’s traditional product line of batteries and power banks.

Transformed from their 28,000 mAh power bank, the Hard Case P28K features an expansive 8.7-inch screen, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage capacity.
On the rear, the phone boasts a triple-camera setup, comprising a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 20-megapixel secondary camera, and a 2-megapixel tertiary camera.
Additionally, it sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera, enhanced for superior quality during video calls.
Equipped with a fingerprint sensor and other security enhancements, the device runs on the Android operating system. Notably, the phone weighs four times more than conventional smartphones, tipping the scales at over half a kilogram.
The Hard Case P28K packs a massive 28,000 mAh battery and comes with a 36-watt charger, enabling a full charge in just 1.5 hours.
According to Energizer, under light usage, the phone’s battery can last up to 94 days, and even with continuous 24-hour phone calls, it can endure for 5 days.
Scheduled for release by October 2024, the phone is expected to debut at a starting price of approximately Rs 74,000 in Pakistan.
