In a tweet on October 13, Elon Musk has appealed to people to buy the perfume he launched so that he can buy Twitter with the proceeds.

He has recently launched a new perfume brand called ‘Burnt Hair’ which costs around US$100 per piece (upto PKR 21,000) and is being sold online.

His tweet has gone viral and thousands of people have made humorous comments on his appeal.

Someone wrote, “The person who has a fortune of more than $200 billion is selling perfume bottle to buy Twitter worth $44 billion.”

Following the tech billionaire’s lead, some people have tweeted to buy their products so they can use the money to purchase other significant items.

One woman penned asking to buy her brownies and cakes, so she could buy a nice cafe.

Taking a dig in the entire incidence, a twitter user urged users to buy his pencil art of Elon Musk face so he could buy Instagram.

In April 2022, Musk had agreed to buy Twitter for $44 billion after which he backed out of the deal.

Twitter filed a petition against him in a US court to compel the world’s richest man to buy the micro-blogging website.

Lately, the business magnate wrote a letter to Twitter administrators agreeing to buy the website. He has written this letter at a time when hearings are going to be held soon on Twitter’s petition against him.
