Electric Buses Set to Arrive in Islamabad Today

Islamabad: Electric buses will begin arriving in Islamabad on Tuesday, as announced during a meeting at the CDA headquarters, chaired by Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
It was reported to the Chairman that initially, 30 buses will reach Islamabad on Tuesday, and these buses will operate on two routes.
During the briefing to the Chairman, it was explained that feeder route 7 will run from NUST to PIMS Hospital, while feeder route 4 will go from PIMS to Bari Imam/Quaid-e-Azam University. The service will be available from 6 AM to 10 PM.
Chairman Randhawa mentioned that a strategy has been developed to provide subsidies to deserving segments, including disabled persons and students, to ensure that all possible facilities are available to the citizens.
