Eight Foreign Tourists Rescued from Flood-Hit Naran

Naran: In a successful rescue operation, eight foreign tourists stranded in Naran due to flooding were safely evacuated on Saturday, according to KP Tourism Authority spokesperson Saad. 

The rescue was carried out following directives from Zahid Chann Zeb, Advisor on Tourism and Culture, and Tashfeen Haider, DG of the Tourism Authority, with coordination from the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) and the Tourism Police.

The tourists had been trapped in the Mahandri area following severe flooding. With the help of KDA and the Tourism Police, they were moved from Naran to Mahandri Bridge in Kaghan.

The tourists, who were scheduled to fly to Portugal tonight, had reached out for help via the Tourism Helpline 1422, managed by the Kite Project.
