Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrations Begin in Various Parts of Pakistan

Islamabad: As the crescent moon marks the end of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations have commenced in various parts of Pakistan, contrary to the official announcement by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which is set to meet today to sight the Shawwal moon.
Different regions, including parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Bohra community in Karachi, are observing the festive occasion today. Special prayers are being held in mosques and Eidgahs, with people gathering to celebrate with traditional enthusiasm.
Eid Celebrations in Peshawar
Afghan refugees and residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s merged tribal districts are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr with religious fervor. A large number of people offered Eid prayers at various locations, including Tajabad, Nasir Bagh, Board, Safed Dheri, and Khurasan Camp. Special prayers were made for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.
Eid celebrations are also underway in Khyber, Mohmand, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, and the southern districts.
Eid Celebrated in Bajaur
Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated with great religious enthusiasm across Bajaur. Eid prayers were offered in various mosques across the district, with a large number of worshippers participating in the celebrations. Strict security arrangements were in place at mosques and Eidgahs to ensure the safety of worshippers.
Afghan refugees residing in Jalozai Camp and other areas gathered for Eid prayers. Eid congregations were held in various locations, where Afghan refugees came together to mark the occasion with traditional festivities.
Bohra Community Celebrates Eid in Karachi
The Bohra community in Karachi is celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today. Eid prayers were offered at the Bohra Jamaat Khana in Saddar, where special prayers were made for the peace and prosperity of the country. Roads leading to the Jamaat Khana were blocked with barriers, and strict security arrangements were in place. Police and Rangers personnel were deployed around the Jamaat Khana to ensure security.
