Eid in the Mountains: Over 150,000 Tourists Explore KP’s Scenic Wonders

Peshawar: Over 150,000 tourists flocked to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s scenic destinations during Eid-ul-Fitr, taking in the picturesque landscapes and pleasant weather. The influx of visitors began on the first day of Eid and continued through the third day, with some tourists still present in the region.

According to the Tourism Authority, more than 95,000 tourists visited various destinations across the province during the three days of Eid.

Among the most popular spots, 42,111 tourists celebrated Eid in Naran, while 28,000 visited the Galiyat region. Additionally, 16,400 tourists explored the stunning Kumrat Valley, and 8,483 visited the breathtaking Kalash Valleys. Around 50,000 other visitors enjoyed their Eid festivities in the scenic Swat Valley.

The region’s natural beauty, serene environment, and favorable weather made the experience even more memorable for the visitors, who relished the opportunity to celebrate Eid in these renowned tourist spots.
