Earthquake Jolts Parts of Karachi

Islamabad: An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale shook parts of Karachi, including the Clifton neighborhood, on Monday.

The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 22 kilometers, with its epicenter situated 15 kilometers northeast of Karachi, as per a private news channel.

Areas such as Defence and Clifton were among those affected.

Eyewitnesses described frightened residents reciting prayers as they hurried outdoors. So far, there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties. This marks the third minor earthquake to hit Karachi in recent weeks.
