Dry Weather To Prevail In Most KP, Sindh

Peshawar/Karachi: The Provincial Meteorological Centre (PMC) Peshawar and the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast mainly dry weather in most parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh provinces, respectively, over the next 24 hours.

PMC stated that partly cloudy weather would prevail over most districts of the province. Isolated rain, wind, and thunderstorms are likely to occur over Kohistan, Torghar, Battagram, Mansehra, and Abbottabad districts.

During the last 24 hours, partly cloudy weather prevailed over most districts of the province. However, rain, wind, and thunderstorms occurred in Swat, Chitral, Buner, Lower and Upper Dir, Bajaur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kohistan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Kohat, Mohmand, and Khyber districts.

Rain (recorded in mm): Bajaur (Pashat 25, Khaar 10), Pattan 22, Saidu Sharif 20, Malam Jabba 17, Balakot 14, Timergara 11, Kalam 09, Buner 07, Bannu 06,  Kakul 05, Dir 03, Drosh 02, Chitral&Cherat 01 (each), Mamad Gut (Mohmand) Trace.

The highest temperature recorded in the province was 34°Cin Dera Ismail Khan.

Hot weather to persist in Sindh

The PMD predicted hot weather for most parts of the Sindh province.The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at different stations are as follows:

Weather forecast for Bahawalpur

The local Met Office has forecast dry and hot weather for the city during the next 24 hours.  The highest maximum temperature of 36°Cand the lowest minimum of 23°Cwere recorded during the last 24 hours.
