Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted dry weather for most parts of Sindh province in the next 24 hours. However, areas like Jacobabad, Mohenjodaro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki, and Padidan may experience fog and smog during morning and night hours.The minimum temperatures expected are:Karachi In Winters: Karachi experiences a relatively mild winter compared to many other parts of the world. From December to February, the city encounters a pleasant and dry winter season. Temperatures generally range from around 13 to 25 degrees Celsius, making it a comfortable time of the year.
During the daytime, the weather tends to be sunny and pleasant, with cool breezes coming in from the sea. This makes it ideal for outdoor activities, visiting parks, or enjoying the beaches along the Arabian Sea coastline.
However, the nights can get cooler, with temperatures occasionally dropping to around 10-13 degrees Celsius. It’s advisable to keep light sweaters or jackets handy for the evenings.
Occasionally, Karachi might experience some fog in the early mornings or late evenings, particularly in certain areas, which could slightly affect visibility. But overall, winter in Karachi is characterized by clear skies and minimal rainfall, providing a pleasant respite from the city’s otherwise hot and humid climate.
