Dry, Hot Weather Expected Across Pakistan During Eid Holidays

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast predominantly dry weather across Pakistan during the Eid holidays, with hot temperatures expected in the plains during daytime.

Islamabad and its surrounding areas are likely to experience dry conditions with partly cloudy skies.

In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, most districts are expected to remain dry, with strong winds anticipated in some parts of Punjab.

In Sindh, dry weather will prevail across most regions, accompanied by occasional gusty winds. Similarly, Azad Jammu Kashmir is expected to remain dry, while Gilgit-Baltistan may see partly cloudy skies with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms.

Balochistan will also experience dry weather, with hot conditions prevailing in the southern districts. Recorded temperatures indicate cooler conditions in some areas, with Quetta at 7°C, Kalat at 5°C, Ziarat at 4°C, and Turbat at a warmer 19°C. Coastal areas such as Gwadar and Jiwani recorded 21°C and 22°C, respectively.

Authorities have advised residents, particularly in lowland and southern regions, to take precautions against the heat during the holidays to avoid heat-related illnesses. Citizens are encouraged to stay hydrated and minimize outdoor exposure during peak heat hours.

The weather conditions are expected to remain stable, ensuring that Eid celebrations proceed without significant disruptions across the country.
