Dr Arif Alvi Urges Tech for Environment, Health

Islamabad: President Dr Arif Alvi emphasized the constructive and responsible utilization of technology for safeguarding the environment, human health, and fostering prosperity.

He expressed these views during a virtual address at an event hosted by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan in Karachi.

He highlighted the significant advancements in medical science due to rapid technological progress, making research more accessible and cost-effective.

Encouraging doctors and physicians to leverage information technology for accurate and timely disease diagnosis, he noted the potential for preemptive diagnosis enabled by research on human cells and genes.

President Alvi also urged students to prioritize analytical skills over rote memorization. He commended the College of Physicians and Surgeons for its commitment to excellence in education and its noteworthy contributions to the advancement of dentistry.
