Diver Recovered 200 Apple Watches From Lake

Islamabad: A diver from Illinois has retrieved close to 200 Apple Watches from the depths of a lake and issued a warning to watch owners against swimming with the original watch bands.
Derek Langos, a scuba diver based in Port Barrington, uses a metal detector to locate lost items in the Indiana Chain O’ Lakes.
Langos shared that he discovered the Apple smartwatches while diving in the lake, where all the watches had their original bands intact. Operating under the name Scuba Bear Diving Recovery Service, Langos stated that those wearing sports bands while in the water are at risk of losing them.
Some watches were recovered on request, while others were found during his dives. Langos has kept all the items with the intention of returning them to their rightful owners, including a white gold Cartier ring, which he did not sell.
