DG Khan’s Nabeel Makes It to ‘Pakistan Idol’ Top 16

Karachi: The “Gala Round” of Pakistan Idol 2025 is in full swing, with judges narrowing down thousands of hopefuls to the Top 16 finalists. Among them is Dera Ghazi Khan’s rising talent, Nabeel Abbas Khan, whose success has sparked widespread celebration in his hometown.

After a month of standout performances on the Idol stage, Nabeel returned to Dera Ghazi Khan to an enthusiastic welcome from family, friends, and citizens who gathered to celebrate his achievement.

Speaking to the media, Nabeel said he works in the real estate sector and discovered his passion for singing through informal musical gatherings with friends.

“I always wished that if life gave me a chance, I would try for Pakistan Idol. I never imagined receiving such overwhelming appreciation,” he said.

Nabeel emphasized that his selection into the Top 16 was purely merit-based, noting that a platform like Pakistan Idol allows ordinary but talented young Pakistanis to shine on a national stage.

His friends and supporters say they are immensely proud, celebrating not only his advancement in the competition but also the recognition he is bringing to Dera Ghazi Khan.
