Ingredients

For Strawberry Jelly

  • Water: 2 ½ cups
  • National Strawberry Jelly: 2 packs
  • For Vanilla Custard
  • Milk: 300 g + 1 ½ litres
  • National Vanilla Custard: 1 pack
  • Sugar: 1 ½ cups

For Custard Cream

  • Whipping cream: 1 cup
  • Prepared custard: 1/4 cup

For Assembling

  • Prepared jelly
  • Strawberry slices: as required
  • Prepared custard: as required
  • Prepared custard cream: as required
  • Swiss rolls: as required
  • Mixed fruits: as required
  • Pomegranate: as required
  • Pistachios: as required

Directions

       Prepare the Strawberry Jelly:

In a pot, heat the water and bring it to a boil.

Add the National Strawberry Jelly and boil until it dissolves.

Pour the jelly into the serving bowl. Add strawberry slices and let it cool to room temperature. Add more strawberry jelly if needed and set aside.

      Prepare the Vanilla Custard:

In a jar, mix 300 g milk with National Vanilla Custard Powder and set aside.

In a pot, heat 1 ½ litres of milk and bring it to a boil. Add sugar and cook until it dissolves.

Add the custard slurry to the boiling milk and cook until it thickens.

Assemble the Trifle:

In the serving bowl, add a layer of swiss rolls and mixed fruits. Pour the prepared custard on top and let it cool to room temperature. Set aside.

Prepare the Custard Cream:

In a bowl, beat the whipping cream until fluffy and stiff peaks form.

Gently fold in the prepared custard.

Finish Assembling:

Spread the custard cream over the cooled custard layer.

Garnish with pomegranate seeds and pistachios.
