Death Toll in Kurram Attack to 42

Parachinar: The death toll from the gun attack on passenger vehicles in Kurram district rose to 42 on Friday, as four more victims succumbed to their injuries at a local hospital. Among the dead were a woman and a child.

The attack occurred on Thursday when assailants opened fire on a convoy of 200 vehicles traveling from Parachinar to Peshawar in the Char Khel and Mandori areas.

Authorities have expanded the investigation, and the bodies have been transported to Parachinar for burial.
