DC Agha Conducts Inspection of Tourist Facilities in Murree

Rawalpindi: Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi conducted a thorough review of tourist facilitation centers at Jhika Gali, Kuldna, and Lower Topa in Murree this Friday.

During his visit, he meticulously assessed the arrangements in place to enhance the experience for tourists. One of the key aspects of the inspection included a check on the attendance of staff at these centers.

Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the district administration, highlighting the excellent arrangements made to promote tourism in the region while providing crucial assistance to tourists.

Given the allure of Murree, often referred to as the ‘Queen of Hills,’ particularly during winter when tourists flock to enjoy the snowfall, the DC emphasized the importance of robust support systems. He assured that the district administration had taken significant steps to offer guidance and assistance to visitors.

A total of 13 tourist facilitation centers have been strategically established across various locations in Murree, as disclosed by Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi. Additionally, he informed that a fully operational control room has been set up to efficiently manage and address any concerns. The DC highlighted the proactive measures taken to implement a traffic management plan, aimed at preventing gridlock on city roads and ensuring smooth movement for tourists.

These initiatives collectively underscore the commitment of the district administration to enhance the overall tourism experience in Murree.
