Ingredients for Chicken Mixture:
- Chicken (boiled & shredded) – 1 ½ cups
- Carrot (finely chopped) – ⅔ cup
- Cabbage (chopped) – ⅔ cup
- Potatoes (boiled & mashed) – 1 cup
- Green chilies (chopped) – 2 tbsp
- Mayonnaise – ¼ cup
- Dark soy sauce – 2 tbsp
- Chili sauce – 2 tbsp
- Mustard paste – 1 tbsp
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Mozzarella cheese (shredded) – 2 cups
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Cheese Balls:
- Prepared chicken mixture
- Mozzarella cheese balls (as required)
- All-purpose flour (as required)
- Beaten eggs (as required)
- Bread crumbs (as required)
- Oil (for frying) – as required
Directions:
Prepare the Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, carrot, cabbage, mashed potatoes, green chilies, mayonnaise, dark soy sauce, chili sauce, mustard paste, salt, black pepper powder, shredded mozzarella cheese, and ginger garlic paste. Mix everything well until fully incorporated. Set aside.
Shape the Balls
Take a handful of the prepared mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a mozzarella cheese ball in the center, then carefully wrap the mixture around it, forming a ball.
Coat the Balls
Roll each ball in all-purpose flour, then dip it in beaten eggs. Coat it with bread crumbs. For an extra crispy texture, dip the ball in the beaten eggs again and coat it with bread crumbs a second time.
Fry the Balls
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the balls into the oil and deep fry them until golden brown and fully cooked. Make sure to fry them evenly on all sides.
Remove the fried balls from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
